How to train for HYROX New York
Build three components: a sustainable running base, strength endurance for pushing, pulling and carrying, and transition sessions linking a 1 km run with a station. Practise pacing and wall balls under fatigue without racing a maximal simulation every week.
- Running: easy aerobic work and a race-specific session adjusted to your level.
- Strength: technical progression for sled work, lunges and carries.
- Transitions: combine short run-and-station blocks.
Our 2026/27 sled guide covers loads and technique. A 12-week plan is available in Spanish.
Logistics, start times and venue map
Bookmark the organiser’s page and check it during race week for entrance, check-in, your start wave and a current venue map if released. Do not treat a map from another edition or city as this race’s course. International travellers should check entry requirements with official authorities.
