Registration and race-day information
Check divisions, ticket availability and the current price on the official event page. Your exact start time, bib collection instructions and athlete briefing may be updated closer to race day. Follow the organiser’s instructions for your division before booking travel around a specific start time.
How to prepare for HYROX Bilbao

HYROX combines eight 1 km runs with eight functional workout stations. Build a running base, practise the movement standards for your division, and train transitions while tired. Increase training load gradually and rehearse a session that alternates running and stations; a steady first run usually leaves you better placed for the final stations.
For sled push and sled pull, practise your technique and check the latest official rulebook for the loads and rules that apply to your division. Do not rely on another athlete’s sled weight.
What happens on the course?

The station sequence is SkiErg, Sled Push, Sled Pull, Burpee Broad Jumps, Rowing, Farmer’s Carry, Sandbag Lunges and Wall Balls. Each station follows a run. The physical layout of the hall can change by edition, so consult the organiser’s event page for a 2027 venue map when one is published; a map from a previous Bilbao race would be misleading.
Getting to the BEC and planning your day
The venue is in Barakaldo, outside central Bilbao. Plan transport to the Bilbao Exhibition Centre, allow time for check-in and warm-up, and test your shoes and race kit in training. Bring the documents required by the organiser. Check its athlete briefing for the latest entry, bag drop and spectator arrangements.
