1. Data extraction and normalization
The process starts when you sync your activity. We don't just read the distance; we extract the full file .FIT or .TCX through the Strava API.

- Normalización: We adjust the data based on your profile (age, weight, sex and configured effort zones) so the analysis is 100% individual.
2. The load and fatigue algorithm (effort modeling)

Our AI doesn't just look at how much you ran today — it looks at how that effort impacts your last 28-day window.

3. Natural Language Processing (NLP)
This is where the "buddy chat" magic happens. Once the numerical data is processed, our Natural Language Generation engine turns the metrics into words.
- Contextualización: The algorithm understands whether you did an interval workout, a long run or a regenerative jog, and adapts the tone and advice based on the detected intensity.
4. Machine Learning for recovery
Iron Buddy learns from your history. If we detect that after certain levels of TSS (Training Stress Score) your performance drops in the next 48 hours, the system prioritizes active recovery or full rest advice.
